What I Offer

• Personalized Teletherapy: Tailored support that respects your values and helps you overcome life’s challenges with resilience and empowerment.

• Holistic Approach: I don’t just diagnose and prescribe a standardized treatment. I take time to understand you—your circumstances, your goals, and what actually matters to you. From there, I draw from my knowledge and experience to piece together your care. That might mean offering a different perspective, teaching skills, or using analogies that speak your language. I tailor the process to you, integrating different therapeutic models and communicating in a way that makes sense to how you think and process.

• Relational Work: Therapy is fundamentally relational. That means developing a working relationship built on trust and mutual respect. I spend time listening to you, helping you feel seen, heard, and valued—not just as a client, but as a person. The work we do is based on collaboration. You gain trust in the process by trying things out and seeing what actually works in your life.

• Support for a Range of Issues: Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating relationships and personal growth, I’m here to guide you with directness and care.

Understanding Diagnostic Practices

• The Role of Diagnosis: A diagnosis is sometimes necessary—especially for insurance—but it’s not the heart of the work. The DSM was created to help professionals communicate about common patterns of symptoms. It has its uses, but it’s not perfect, and it doesn’t capture the full complexity of who you are.

• Limitations & Misuse: Diagnoses can sometimes be overused or lead people to over-identify with a label. I don’t want that for you. Not all therapists would diagnose the same way, and no diagnosis is permanent. Your struggles are real, but they don’t define your identity.

• A Flexible, Evolving View: I see diagnosis as a tool—not a fixed label. It’s something that can evolve with you, and I only use it when necessary and after thorough assessment. My focus is on understanding you as a whole person, not reducing you to a set of criteria.
